Install Datoteka

Datoteka is available for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android. Download the installer for your platform from your account dashboard after purchase, then sign in with the email used at checkout.

Connect your storage

On first launch, choose which locations Datoteka should index: local drives, external drives, or connected cloud storage. Datoteka builds a local, private index — your files are never uploaded to train any model.

Try AI search

Open the search bar (Cmd/Ctrl + K) and describe what you’re looking for in plain language, for example “the invoice from the printing company last month.” Datoteka ranks results by meaning, not just filename matches.

Let Datoteka organize

Enable Auto-organize in Settings → Organization to let Datoteka suggest folder structures based on how you already sort files. Suggestions are always opt-in — nothing moves without your approval until you turn on fully automatic mode.
